What is a child custody court order?
A child custody court order is a document that is submitted to and entered by a State of Michigan court. It spells out where a child will live and who will make legal decisions about the child.
How long does the study take?
It takes between 1-2 hours.The whole study takes place at once, unless you need to do an electronic survey.
What do I need to do?
You will fill out a survey with information about you, your child(ren), and the other parent. You will be asked to provide a copy of your court order, if possible. Then, we will have a confidential audio-recorded conversation.
Where will we meet?
At a place and time that is conveneint for you.
What if I live far away from Ann Arbor?
We can do an electronic survey and interview.
